When You Receive Your Flowers
- Cut each stem at an angle, under water if possible, to maximize absorption
- Remove any leaves that would be submerged in the vase, as they encourage bacteria
- Dilute the provided nutrient packet in the vase water, following the indicated dose
Daily Care
- Change the water every two days, or as soon as it becomes cloudy
- Re-cut the stems by about one centimetre with every water change
- Add a little more nutrient solution with every water change, if you still have some
- Remove wilted flowers as they appear to preserve the rest of the bouquet
Ideal Location
- Avoid direct sunlight and sources of heat (radiators, electronics)
- Keep the vase away from drafts and fruit bowls, which speed up wilting
- A cool spot, sheltered from drafts, extends the life of your flowers by several days
